New song! What it’s about I have no idea.. but let’s give a warm welcome to this Classic Vibe Squier Telecaster which is featured in the song below, along with the trusty baritone (seen pictured behind). According to my ex-co-worker who has probably been playing guitar for the past 40 years now and was a great source of information about guitar gear, the Classic Vibe Tele is one of the best bang for your buck guitars out there. I decided to check it out, and have to agree with him. The music store salesguy tried to get me to me to buy a Mexican Fender Tele instead for way more money. I tried it as well and while it had a warmer, woodier tone than the Squier, the Squier oddly was more fun to play and I didn’t think the tone difference justified the higher price personally.
Anyways, this song is based on a jam I did with Helena T the last time she was in town. I took her drum part and basically programmed it into MIDI notes. It morphed into something else and took for freakin ever. Way easier to just find a real drummer and get them to play something.. aargh technology
